Dorena Lemus, owner of Personal Touch House Cleaning, bought Phoenix Carpet in 2006 from Bruce and Joanna Deloatch. Dorena has been in business for 19 years and the Deloatchs had owned Phoenix for 10 years.
Personal Touch House Cleaning and Carpet Care has 2 fully equipped carpet vans. Our method of cleaning is truck-mounted, hot water extraction.
Carpet Cleaning Process
One of the most important things about our company is that our technicians are certified by the IICRC (The Institute for Inspections, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification).
Carpet is thoroughly vacuumed.
A cleaning agent is applied, which is specifically designed for carpet, and allowed to sit for a few minutes. If you have some bad high traffic areas, we groom the agent in, and then let it sit.
Afterwards, we begin the steam cleaning; which is a ‘clear water’ steam, close to 200 degrees in temperature. This thoroughly rinses out the cleaning agent we have applied as well as whatever else is in the carpet.
Air movers are set to help dry the carpet.
Remaining spots are re-treated.
Furniture that we have moved is placed back on plastic tabs or Styrofoam blocks.

Important message regarding carpet protector and tile sealer:
Every time carpet is vacuumed or tile is cleaned, the protector or sealer is removed. Re-applying the protector or sealer makes it easier to remove future stains and helps keep the carpet or tile cleaner.
